Observation and Support
The Cascadian Guard is a community-focused initiative dedicated to prevention, awareness, and harm reduction. It exists to support people and neighborhoods through presence, communication, and coordination rather than force or authority.
The primary role is to observe and report. Guard members remain aware of their surroundings, document concerning activity when appropriate, and cooperate with existing emergency services when necessary.
What the Guard Is and Is Not
The Cascadian Guard is not a police force, not a private security company, and not a vigilante group. It does not seek authority, enforcement power, or control over public spaces. Its purpose is preventative, supportive, and community-oriented.
